Obesity Alone May Not Increase Risk of Death

Obesity alone, without any other metabolic risk factors, is not linked to an increased risk of death, according to a new Canadian study at York University.

Obesity is often tied to a number of health problems, including high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol and high blood sugar.
